Home of the Seelinger Family
Lampertheim is one of the Hesse's southernmost towns. It is on the right bank of the Rhine and surrounded by the Odenwald and the Palatinate Forest. The town dates to 832 as a Frankish settlement and the name means Lantberths' Home with Lantberth meaning "Land-brightening ones" In 1716 the town was granted market rights and in 1951 town rights.
